The Spring Super Sale RV Show will be held April 9-11th, 2010 at the Cal Expo in Sacramento, California. The official name of the show is the Surf & Turf Sports, Boat, and RV Show and more information can be found here. Now in it’s 56th year, this show will not only satisfy your taste for RV’s, but it can fill your new Toy Hauler with motorcycles, boats, jet skis and other fun outdoor goodies.

The Iowa RV & Travel Show will be April 9-11th, 2010 at the Iowa Events Center-Hyvee Hall in Des Moines, Iowa. An Affinity Events Show, the Iowa RV and Travel Show will get you ready for camping season through a showcase of pop up campers, travel trailers, toy haulers, Class B motorhomes, and more. An interesting addition this year will be the appearance of Joey Green who is a best-selling author and guru of wacky uses for household products. The Columbus RV Super Show is just around the corner, March 12-14, 2010 at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair. As the RV show’s website states, there is over a mile of new motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and pop up campers available from dealer’s all over Ohio. The Birmingham RV Super Show is coming up next month, March 19th-21st, 2010. The event will be held at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham, Alabama. The RV Super Show is one of Alabama’s longest running RV shows. According to the show’s promoter, BK Productions, their website says that there will be several football fields worth of RVs, luxury motorhomes, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and other campers to peak your interest. Put March 2010 on your calendar and plan to attend.

The Bangor, Maine RV show that was scheduled for this weekend, January 29th-31st 2010, has now been canceled due to lack of vendors. This was to be the 25th annual show held in Bangor. What do you do in the winter if you live in Canada or northern areas of the Midwest?  Dream of warmer weather, of course, and what goes better with warmer weather than your RV?  Use RV shows to buy an RV and plan out your spring and summer travels.

The Safari Club International’s convention, expo and benefit auctions will be held in Lincoln, Nebraska at the Embassy Suites Hotel on January 15th and 16th, 2010.  Then you can hit a second RV show, all in the same weekend, by attending the River City Hunting, Fishing, RV and Boat Expo in Council Bluffs will be held January 15th – 17th at the Mid-America Center.

These RV shows will wish the winter blues away by tempting folks to buy a wide range of outdoor equipment and book hunting, fishing and other outdoor adventures to lodges and camps.

More than 100 exhibitors of outdoor and sporting equipment will display boats, all-terrain vehicles, recreational vehicles and campers. In addition to three days of seminars, there will be woodcarving exhibitions and archery bow making.

The first RV show listed for 2010 is the San Antonio RV Show in Texas which starts January 7th.  The last show listed for the year is also a Texas RV Show and it is the East Texas RV Super Show in Beaumont, Texas, starting September 24, 2010.  In between these two dates, there are motorhome shows in Louisiana, Calgary, Florida, and Michigan to name a few.

Even though the RV industry has been struggling with the rest of the economy in the past couple of years, there are signs that the RV industry is improving and that is why the theme word was optimism at the annual RV Industry Association National Trade Show in Louisville Kentucky.  The show was held at the first of December 2009 and some experts say the industry is now poised for a major comeback.  RV sales have increased for many RV manufacturers and some RV manufacturers are even adding jobs.

The show featured more than one million square feet of motor homes, towables, fifth wheels and pop-ups. They were flanked by nearly 10,000 suppliers and dealers.

What can be better than a Texas RV Vacation in January?  How about using the RVIA RV Show in San Antonio as an excuse to go to Texas?  The 2010 San Antonio RV show will be held January 7-10th at the Henry B. The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds has announced it’s 2010 Camper and RV Show Schedules.  The MARVAC annual Flint Camper and RV Show will be held February 4-7, 2010 at the Perani Arena and Event Center in Flint, MI.  The 2010 Annual Detroit Camper and RV Show will be held February 10-14th at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi, MI.  For more information on these shows, click here.
